BOS Adds Banking Veteran to Investment Solutions Group

The private banking arm of OCBC has hired a veteran with nearly 30 years of experience for its investment solutions group.

Bank of Singapore has appointed Joey Tang as head of investment solutions group Hong Kong, according to a statement. In the role, he will be responsible for the bank’s product and solutions strategy for the Hong Kong branch across capital markets, alternative investments, management solutions and lending advisory. He will also be tasked with driving innovations in product capabilities to support Greater China clients.

Based in Singapore, he reports to Vivienne Chia, global head of investment solutions group and Rickie Chan, head of private banking, Greater China, and chief executive, Hong Kong branch.

Tang has close to 30 years of experience in investment banking and private banking. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he served as head of funds, alternatives and solutions at Bank of China (Hong Kong) Private Banking. Previously, he also worked at Citigroup’s global markets business as head of the Greater China region and head of fixed income, commodities and currencies.
