Deutsche Bank PB Names Former CS Executive as EM COO
The private wealth unit of Deutsche Bank has hired a former Credit Suisse and UBS executive as its chief operating officer for emerging markets.
Deutsche Bank has appointed Alain Bernasconi as chief operating officer (COO) emerging markets, private bank, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia. In this role, he reports to Marco Pagliara, head of emerging markets, and Yiping Li, global COO, private bank.
Bernasconi has decades of COO experience across Asia, Americas and Europe. He was most recently working at UBS Singapore as head of business integration in the global wealth management COO department. Prior to the UBS integration, he spent 23 years at Credit Suisse in multiple roles, including APAC COO for wealth management.
