TMLS Hires Ex-HSBC Insurance Executive as CEO
The Singapore arm of Japanese insurer Tokio Marine Life has announced the appointment of a new CEO.
Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore (TMLS) has appointed Alistair Chamberlain appointed as CEO, according to a statement. He has a wealth of expertise in actuarial, finance and product & marketing across regulated markets, most recently as managing director and chief financial officer (CFO) of global wealth and insurance at HSBC. Prior to that, he was CFO at AIA Singapore.
TMLS has also appointed Jun Tokura as chief distribution officer, in addition to his existing role as deputy CEO, and Kapil Jain as chief risk officer.
TMLS is part of Tokio Marine Holdings which was established as Japan’s first insurance company more than 140 years ago. Today, it has a network that spans 46 countries and regions with over 40,000 employees.
