The British bank named industry veteran Tan How Seng desk head for the Indonesia team in Singapore. Prior to the move, Tan was executive director at J. Safra Sarasin.
Northern Trust
The wealth manager promoted Angelo Calvitto to head of Australasia from June 8, it said in a statement. He succeeds Madeleine Senior, who is relocating to the firm's London office, and will report to William Mak, head of Asia-Pacific.
Jefferies
The investment bank poached Michael Stock from rival Credit Suisse, where he was head of investment banking and capital markets. Stock joins Jefferies as head of investment banking and head of Australia.
ANZ
Former New Zealand leader John Key will join the board of ANZ, effective immediately. Prior to his political work, Key had a career in finance with Bankers Trust in New Zealand and Merrill Lynch in Singapore, London and Sydney.
CLSA
The capital markets and investment group appointed Michael Luk as head of debt capital markets from March, it said in a statement. He will report to CLSA Chairman Zhenyi Tang and be based in Hong Kong.
Citi
The American bank named Debopama Sen as Singapore and Asean head for its treasury and trade solutions business. The 18-year veteran of Citi will report to Rajesh Mehta, and Amol Gupte, Asean head and CEO of Citi Singapore.
ANZ
The Melbourne-based bank promoted Kevin Corbally to risk chief, according to a statement. Before joining ANZ nine years ago, Corbally was head of corporate and commercial banking at Citigroup Australia and New Zealand. He replaces Nigel Williams, who is retiring.
