Earlier this week the Ritz Carlton hotel in Hong Kong hosted the Chambers Asia Pacific awards. The Chambers' awards recognises law firms' pre-eminence in key practice areas and notable achievements such as outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
Bill McCormack of Shearman & Sterling LLP was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Legal Profession Award in recognition of his exceptional work in the project finance and development field. Ranked as a 'Star' individual in the Singapore chapter for the last four years, McCormack was widely singled out by peers and clients alike for his "unrivalled track record in leading on large-scale project financings."
Nick Hunsworth of Mayer Brown JSM was presented with the Lifetime Achievement in the Legal Profession Award. Hunsworth is a respected figure in the Hong Kong litigation sphere.
