We start the week with a quick round up of recent professional moves across the wealth industry in APAC.
Andrew Lam, who was previously the head of investment advisory at China Construction Bank’s wealth management unit has joined Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management as vice president. Lam is based in Hong Kong.
According to reports out of Hong Kong JP Morgan Asset Management have secured the services of Ayaz Ebrahim. Ebrahim is currently with Amundi Asset Management but is said to have agreed to join the US fund house in two to three months.
The global consultancy firm Mercer has appointed Chua Boon Lee as principal, ASEAN investment consulting. Based in Singapore he will lead project teams across ASEAN.
Also in Singapore Religare Capital Markets have hired Matthew Lutter as Managing Director and Head of Asean Equities. Lutter has wide raging Asian experience having spent 17 years in Japan with Cazenove, KBC Financial Products and BNP Paribas.
