Early stage, growth-stage and mature-stage start-ups are all welcome to apply for a chance to demo at the 2016 Fintech Finals, part of startmeup.hk, co-organized by Next Bank and FinTech Hong Kong.
The Fintech Finals 2016 will take place on January 25 and 26, 2016, at PMQ in Hong Kong. 40 of the best start-ups will get the chance to exhibit for free in the Startup Village. Large corporates and banks are also being invited to showcase their latest innovations.
A selected 24 fin-tech startups will present their business ideas in 8 minute demos in front of an anticipated 1000 delegates and an panel of bankers, techies, entrepreneurs and VCs.
Among the entrants will be six start-ups selected from semi-final pitch days at cities across the Asia Pacific in Singapore, Seoul, Sydney, Bangalore, Bangkok and Shanghai in December.
One start-up will win the Fintech Finals 2016 Best in Show with other awards for stand-out fintech start-up ideas.
