The Ferrari 488 Spider officially made its Southeast Asian debut in Phuket, the very first appearance in this region following the world premiere at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September.
“We are very excited to have the premiere of this latest open-top V8 model with our important Southeast Asian customers. Ferrari 488 Spider is the highest performing 8-cylinder drop-top model ever and we are pleased to celebrate this new page of the Prancing Horse history here in Phuket. We’re thrilled that our customers have responded so well to the technology, power and design of this new car,” commented Dieter Knechtel, Managing Director of Ferrari Far East.
The Ferrari 488 Spider is the latest chapter in Maranello’s ongoing history of open-top V8 sports cars, a story that started with the targa-top version of the 308 GTB – the immortal 308 GTS – and which ultimately resulted in the full convertible Spider architecture.
