Singapore based Swiss-Asia Financial Services will be hosting its first networking event for fund managers in the city-state.
The event will offer a new opportunity for best performing emerging fund managers to gain investor access in Asia. Swiss-Asia claims the gathering will represent the only independent fund management platform to hold Cap Intro events outside of the U.S.
Limited to only 100 accredited and institutional investors, this year’s event will feature performance driven strategies and specialised private equity funds based in Asia. It will be held on Thursday 7 April 2016 at The Tower Club Singapore.
Opportunity for Contacts
Attendees will meet fund managers over exclusive roundtable discussions and confidential one-one meetings to materialise fundraising exercises. The event will be structured as roundtables of six to eight investors to each manager, with a time limit of 60 minutes per session. Breakout one-on-one sessions are to be reserved in advance. This ensures that investors gain exposure to a broad selection of top tier performance driven portfolio managers.
«The majority of capital allocations flow in and out of the largest funds around the world, we understand that managers of smaller funds simply do not have the contacts that their larger counterparts have, that is why we create opportunities for investors to access rising alternative funds in Asia,» said Steve Knabl, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner at Swiss-Asia.
