finews.asia has learnt that the Regional Head of Investment Strategy at HSBC Private Bank has left the firm.
Ben Pedley who was on his second stint with the bank departed a few days ago.
Pedley, who was a frequent commentator on news channels Bloomberg and CNBC, had returned to HSBC for the second time having previously been Head of Investment Strategy, North Asia from 2010 to 2012.
Prior to his latest role Pedley had worked with UBS in Australia as Head of Investments and with LGT as Head of Advisory Services.
A spokesperson for HSBC Private Bank confirmed the departure.
