International law firm Appleby has bolstered its banking and finance practice in Asia, especially in Hong Kong.
The firm with offices in key offshore jurisdictions such as Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands, has appointed Fiona Chan as Partner. She joins the group’s Hong Kong office to further bolster Appleby's Asia banking and finance practice.
Chan has extensive experience advising clients on various offshore jurisdictions and joins Appleby after working for approximately five years offshore in Hong Kong. She has also spent 10 years onshore with the London and Hong Kong offices of Clifford Chance. Her experience spans the spectrum of banking and finance transactions.
