RBC Wealth Management, one of the world’s top five largest wealth managers, has announced a restructuring to its Asian leadership team.
Barend Janssens, Head, RBC Wealth Management Asia, has announced his intention to retire effective June 10, 2016. With Janssens’ retirement, Peter Corry will become Head of Wealth Management – Asia, based in Singapore, and will report to Stuart Rutledge.
The Asian business will now be brought under the leadership of Stuart Rutledge, Head of Wealth Management International the bank said in a press release.

«Over recent years, we have been realigning RBC Wealth Management’s international footprint with a focus on delivering outstanding service to clients in targeted markets where we know we can add the most value,» said Doug Guzman, Group Head, RBC Wealth Management and RBC Insurance.
Earlier this year finews.asia reported that RBC had hired Tho Gea Hong in Singapore as the Head of Wealth Management, Southeast Asia. This followed the departure of Grace Barki from RBC, who is now Managing Director covering Southeast Asia at Pictet in Singapore.
