Among a torrent of new digital banking initiatives and enhancements Citi in Singapore has uncovered their new wealth management tool.
At a media briefing in Singapore Citibank showcased «Total Wealth Advisor», the banks new proprietary tool designed to enhance investment advisory.
The tool is currently only available to Private Banking and Citigold clients who meet a specific threshold.
Client Empowerment
The Total Wealth Advisor Citi say is offered to clients to empower them in making sound decisions to achiev their financial needs and goals throughout their different life stages.
Total Wealth Advisor maps client goals to portfolios based on risk tolerance, resource availability and time horizon.
Robo-Advice?
«Our customers today are increasingly digitally-savvy, mobile and global. Our mobile and digital strategy is built around our customers’ evolving preferences, ensuring that we bring them a banking experience that meets and exceeds their expectations across all our digital touch points – phone, mobile and online banking,» said Han Kwee Juan, CEO for Citibank Singapore.
Asked by finews.asia if this was robo-advising Kwee Juan said it was not but that the bank was keeping that option under evaluation.

Among a slew of digital initiatives the bank rolled out was the bank’s recent launch of voice biometrics authentication, enabling customers who call into the bank’s self-service hotline – CitiPhone – to have their identities verified using just their voices in 15 seconds or less.
Citibank is the first global bank to introduce voice biometrics to customers in the Asia Pacific region.
