Following recent senior additions to the private banking unit, Singapore’s leading lender is said to have appointed the former Head of ultra high net worth clients Southeast Asia, from Switzerland’s biggest bank.
Seasoned wealth management professional Joseph Poon, who was released from UBS as part of a cost saving management restructure earlier this year, is rumoured to have been hired into the growing ranks at DBS Private Bank.
finews.asia reported earlier this year on Poon’s departure from Asia’s largest wealth manager.
DBS declined to comment on the move.
