Independent law firm Howse Williams Bowers has announced that a restructuring and insolvency specialist and his team of associates will join their firm from a rival this month.
Bertie Mehigan and his team join Howse Williams Bowers (HWB) from rival firm Ashurst. Mehigan advises clients on restructuring and insolvency matters and on cross-border special situations financing and investment transactions in Asia and elsewhere.
He has particular expertise in complex restructurings, special-situations financing and distressed situations. He is regularly ranked by legal directories as a leading lawyer in his field and is widely recognised as one of the leading restructuring and finance lawyers in Asia and has practised law in London, the Middle East and Asia.
