Global management consulting firm Bain & Company has relocated a highly regarded consultant, with strong banking and technology experience, to the company’s Malaysian office.
Touted as an expert in business performance transformations and leadership development, Peter Slagt, joins Bain & Company’s partner team in Southeast Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur. He will also work with Bain’s partner and consulting teams across the Asia-Pacific region, the company said in a statement to finews.asia.
Slagt is a leader in Bain’s global Results Delivery® Practice, specializing in helping companies architect and implement large-scale transformation and change programs, and increase the success and sustainability of such programs.
From Officer to Consultant
He was most recently a partner in Bain’s London office and has served the leadership teams and boards of some of the world’s top companies across multiple industries, including technology and banking.
Prior to joining Bain, Slagt was a partner at consulting firm McKinsey where he was the leader of their Northern European and African Organisation practice. Before becoming a consultant, he was a Royal Dutch Navy career officer for 10 years.
