After three years in senior management positions at BNP Paribas Securities Services and Credit Suisse, a former State Street veteran has returned to the firm to take up a senior role.
State Street has announced the appointment of Aisling Keane as Head of Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) for the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the firm said in a statement.
State Street established a presence in Asia Pacific as an alternative funds service provider when it acquired Mourant International Finance Administration (MIFA) in 2010, with locations in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Returning to State Street
Based in Hong Kong, Aisling Keane will be responsible for leading the hedge fund, private equity and real estate servicing business in APAC.
In her new role Keane (pictured) will be replacing Bob Keogh, who recently went back to Dublin, Ireland, to head State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) business for EMEA. She returns to State Street after three years in senior management positions at BNP Paribas Securities Services and Credit Suisse in both Hong Kong as well as in Singapore.
Prior to these roles, she worked at State Street for 16 years in a variety of roles in Dublin and Hong Kong, including as Head of International Fund Services (IFS), APAC.
