Australian Robo-Advisor Ignition Wealth has announced a new division of its firm which will offer full support and consulting to help advisers get the most out of their financial planning software «XPLAN» solutions.
Sydney based Ignition Wealth has partnered with XPLAN customisation specialists PlanFocus, to form the new division which will be headed by Rob Corben, Director of PlanFocus. Corben joins Ignition Wealth as Head of advice.
Corben has over two decades of specialist advice technology development and integration experience and brings an ability to assess business' needs and advise upon and deliver technology strategies.
As with most robo-advisers, Ignition Wealth's interface asks a client to provide details like their age, gender, income, assets, level of risk aversion and financial goals. Its algorithm then designs and implements a portfolio that is dynamically updated, for a flat fee monthly fee of $15 plus brokerage for portfolios of less than $25,000.
2017 The Year of The Robo-Advisor
«XPLAN is the leading financial planning solution in the market and we are delighted to now offer our clients a range of XPLAN services to help them better leverage technology in their businesses. We believe the true scale of digital advice is best delivered by integrating with the tools with which advisers are already comfortable,» said Mark Fordree, CEO of Ignition Wealth.
finews.asia reported last year on the appointment of Claire Wivell Platera leading Australian expert on compliance and regulatory issues as a new member of the company’s advisory board.
Her appointment followed the recent hire by the firm of Richard Liverpool, as Head of Sales.
