Canadian asset manager Sun Life has named a new Hong Kong Chief Executive Officer and made three other senior changes.

Fabien Jeudy has been named as its new Chief Executive Officer. In this role, Jeudy will be responsible for overseeing and growing Sun Life Hong Kong’s (SLHK’s) operations which include life and health insurance, wealth management and the pensions business.

Jeudy has over 27 years of experience across Sun Life’s businesses in Hong Kong, Canada, the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and Vietnam.

Most recently, he was the Regional Chief Operating Officer for Sun Life Financial where he provided business oversight for a number of the company’s functional areas and product development across its operations in Asia.

Wealth and Distribution Push

In addition, SLHK has made senior leadership appointments in Hong Kong all of which are effective immediately.

Belinda Au has been appointed General Manager, Distribution and Marketing, Sun Life Hong Kong. In this role, Au (pictured) will be responsible for: overseeing the distribution of SLHK’s products across all distribution channels; leading its Most Respected Advisor (MRA) strategy; managing SLHK’s digital transformation; and overseeing all marketing activities.

Appointed as General Manager, Wealth and Pensions, Sun Life Hong Kong is Belinda Luk. In this role, Luk will oversee the Pensions portfolio and explore strategic partnerships to expand SLHK’s distribution network and further accelerate its growth in the Hong Kong retirement market.

She will be accountable for strengthening SLHK’s wealth management capabilities and expand its wealth management portfolio to help grow the retirement savings of clients.

Clement Lam has been appointed General Manager, Life and Health, Sun Life Hong Kong. Lam will build on Sun Life’s established life operations platform and expand its health & accident portfolios.
