Equities broker Decker has expanded its coverage to China and Japan with three senior hires.
Institutional broker Decker with a focus on ASEAN markets and has added additional coverage, including Taiwan and what the firm calls Frontier Asia. The latest expansion is highlighted by three new hires, all based from the firm’s Asian office, and an internal promotion.
Christine Peng has joined as Chinese Specialist. Peng was formerly head of China Corporate Access and Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank. Keiko Sebata has joined as Japan Specialist and will handle both public and private transactions. Sebata has 27 years’ experience as a Japan Specialist.
Demand For Lesser Known Corporates
Henry Jung, formerly a Managing Director at Nomura, has joined Decker’s Asia trading desk. Jung previously worked at Goldman Sachs and UBS. Joy Nicharot, who was previously the Head of Asian Sales for Decker has been promoted to Global Head of Sales.
