Citi has appointed new heads for its markets as well as treasury and trade solutions unit in Southeast Asia.
Vandana Bhatter has been appointed as head of markets for ASEAN at Citi, according to a statement, effective immediately. In the role, she reports to APAC head of markets Julia Raiskin as well as head of South Asia & ASEAN Amol Gupte.
Bhatter will retain her existing responsibilities as ASEAN corporate sales and solutions (CSS) head for markets and will continue to report to Gunjan Kalra, head of corporate & public sector sales & solutions, markets, APAC.
Bhatter first joined Citi as a markets management associate in India in 2001. Since then, she has held various roles in the bank’s Singapore FX options structuring team, Korea markets team and the Singapore investor FX business.
TTS in Southeast Asia
Citi also appoints Anoushka Dua as head of treasury and trade solutions (TTS) for ASEAN, reporting to head of TTS APAC Rajesh Mehta and Gupte.
Dua joined Citi as a management associate in India in 2002 and held various roles across banking and trade including sales, structuring and product management in India, Hong Kong and Singapore. She was most recently the head of trade for ASEAN.
