Financial software provider Bravura Solutions has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of a Global Head of Engineering for its wealth management division.
Ramarao Velpuri will lead software engineering globally for the business, focused on the enhancement of the company’s development capabilities, with an emphasis on Sonata, Bravura’s next-generation wealth management software for superannuation, pensions, investments, platforms and life insurance.
The appointment comes as the company enters a new phase of growth, in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
Prolific Author
Prior to joining Bravura, Velpuri was Vice President at Capsilon Corporation. He has also held senior executive roles at CA Technologies and notably Oracle, where he ran global product development and authored nine books on Oracle technology.
In collaboration with the International Institute of Information Technology, he also established the University Innovation Centre in Hyderabad.
Recent Senior Moves
Earlier this year Bravura Solutions made internal promotions replacing its head sales role and chief operating officer. Following the departure of managing director Asia Pacific, Roland Slee, the software provider filled its head sales role with a newly-created position.
Jason Tong took on the responsibility for Asia-Pacific (APAC) sales and pre-sales activities while Jon Alder also became the chief operating officer, Alder was previously head of operations for Australia and Asia.
