Allianz Global Investors has a new head of Institutional Business for South East Asia.
Based in Singapore, Jason Green will focus on broadening the firm’s relationships, as well as deepening partnerships, with sovereign wealth funds, central banks, public pensions, insurers and endowments across the region.
Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI), Green led J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s institutional business in South East Asia, the firm said in a press release.
Southeast Asian Opportunities
Before that, he structured and raised capital for mid-market Asia-Pacific private equity investments at Crescent Point Group and Redstone Asia Capital, and advised on and executed M&A transactions at Lazard.
«We see a lot more opportunities in Southeast Asia as it continues to develop and we are committed to building consultative, long term relationships in the region,» said Adam Phua, head of International Business and Consultant Relations, Asia Pacific at Allianz GI.
