A Swiss fintech announced the expansion of its business activities in the Asia Pacific region. The firm has a strong presence in the private banking and wealth management segment.
With the opening of a new Singapore unit Crealogix, a Swiss software company headquartered in Zurich, hopes to penetrate Asia-Pacific (APAC). The financial technology firm which develops and implements solutions for banks plans initially to cooperate with established local partners, such as Cognizant.
In addition to regional retail banks and financial services providers, the company also supports European private banks in the implementation of software solutions specifically for the Asian market.
Pascal Wengi, has been appointed as managing director APAC, to lead the new Singapore office. Wengi will be responsible for the long-term strategic development of the Zurich based company as it expands in the region.
«Compared to Europe, digitisation is more advanced in Asia, the financial centres in particular are looking to introduce the right state-of-the-art front-end solutions for bank advisors and customers,» said Wengi.
