Adding to his current role, Deutsche Bank named the head of Asian wealth management chief country officer for Hong Kong.
German lender Deutsche Bank appointed Lok Yim as chief country officer for Hong Kong replacing Peter Lo, who is retiring after 15 years the firm said in a statement on Monday.
Yim took over from Ravi Raju, the previous head of Deutsche's Asian wealth business who defected to rival UBS, in October 2016. On taking up the wealth role Yim flagged his intention of adding up to 50 new recruits in the region.
Since then he bolstered the Asian wealth business adding senior hires in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai. Among recent additions the bank hired six Singapore-based relationship managers covering clients in Southeast Asia.
