Switzerland's second-largest bank has promoted from within to fill senior positions in Southeast Asia. The two bankers are both based in Singapore.

The Zurich-based bank announced senior appointments in its Southeast Asia investment banking business. The new unit heads will also work through the private banking platform, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.

Yvonne Voon will assume the role of head of Southeast Asia real estate in investment banking and capital markets (IBCM). Voon has been with Credit Suisse for 12 years in a number of positions in equity research and sales in London, Singapore and Malaysia.

The bank also named Felicity Chan head of the equity syndicate for Southeast Asia in the markets business. Chan spent 14 years at Credit Suisse and was previously part of the Southeast Asia corporate finance team.

In her new role Chan will work with teams across the bank’s integrated investment banking and private banking platform. Voon and Chan are based in Singapore.
 
The Swiss bank was dealt a blow to its investment banking business in Indonesia recently, when Robby Winarta quit Credit Suisse for the private equity group Carlyle Group, as finews.asia reported at the time.
