Ernesto Bertarelli’s wealth manager has appointed a new CEO. The executive joins from Fidelity International.
Cyrus Jilla (pictured below) takes over as chief executive officer of Northill Capital, the wealth management unit of Waypoint Capital. Waypoint Capital is the investment firm of the Bertarelli family.
Jilla was chairman of Fidelity International, the holding company of global asset manager Fidelity. He started his career at Schroders, the U.K.-based fund manager. Later, he was managing partner at Bain & Company, a consultancy. He also spent several years as an executive on the management committee of De Beers, the diamond firm.
Integration of Platform
At Northill Capital, Jilla will develop the asset management business and complete the integration of the Northill platform into Waypoint. In future, Jilla will contribute to the investment program of Waypoint Capital with his knowhow.
Ernesto Bertarelli earned his fortune in the biotech industry and shot to stardom as founder, sponsor and member of the successful Alinghi America’s Cup team.
