The bank will use InvestCloud's wealth advisory platform to support end-to-end wealth management and financial planning.
Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), Japan's largest bank and one of the world's largest banks by total assets, has announced a partnership with fintech InvestCloud to support its fast-growing investor base in Japan, it said in an announcement on Tuesday.
The California-headquartered fintech firm established a presence in Japan in 2019 and has made a significant investment in its operations in the country, growing its team of IT and wealth management professionals.
Growing Platform
Investcloud currently supports over $4 trillion of assets from more than 700 clients through cloud-based digital solutions. Its clients include major banks, wealth managers, institutional investors, asset managers, family offices, asset services providers and financial platform.
The company has said it wants to capitalize on growing Asia demand for wealth management solutions. In 2020, the company appointed Taryn Balthazar as its Singapore-based regional distribution head.
