Shortly after the retirement of UBP’s former North Asia head Ivan Wong, the Geneva-based private bank has announced his successor, finews.asia has learned.
UBP has appointed Teresa Lee as region had North Asia, according to an internal memo seen by finews.asia, subject to regulatory and board approval. She will succeed Ivan Wong in early August following his retirement last week.
Prior to joining UBP, Lee worked at Bank of Singapore for seven years, last as its vice chair of Greater China. Previously, she also worked at Standard Chartered and ABN AMRO.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the contents of the memo.
