Mark Haefele is the Chief Investment Officer of UBS Global Wealth Management and the Chair of the UBS Global Investment Committee. In this capacity, he oversees the investment policy and strategy for approximately $2 trillion in invested assets. He joined UBS as Head of Investment, CIO WM when the CIO office was founded in 2011. Before joining this, he was the co-founder at Sonic Capital. He received a BA from Princeton and both an MA and Ph.D. from Harvard University.
Adrien Pichoud is the Chief Economist and a Portfolio Manager at Bank Syz. He manages the Oyster Multi-Asset and Fixed Income strategies and leads the Syz Asset Allocation Committee. He joined the Syz Group in 2010. Prior to Syz, he spent seven years as an economist in a brokerage firm in Paris, where he was in charge of macroeconomic research. He holds a Master in Finance from the University of Grenoble, France, and a BA in Economics from the University of Sussex, U.K.
Claude Baumann is the Founder and CEO of finews.ch, finews.com and Singapore-based finews.asia. Previously, he wrote for «Weltwoche» and «Finanz und Wirtschaft». He also co-founded the Swiss publisher Nagel & Kimche and launched the business travel magazine «Arrivals». He is the author of several books on the banking industry. His latest work is a biography of the former UBS Chairman Robert Holzach.
