The firm is strengthening its presence in Singapore with a key senior appointment, who will be responsible for leading the distribution team and executing the company’s distribution strategy in the country.
High net worth (HNW) insurance provider Transamerica Life Bermuda (TLB) has appointed Ji Hsien Lim as its head of sales and distribution for its Singapore branch office, the firm said in an announcement on Thursday.
Lim brings almost two decades of experience working for insurers and banks, most recently at Prudential, where he was its head of HNW solutions. He was previously the head of brokerage at AIA Singapore.
Lim will support and cultivate key relationships with brokers, private banks and other financial firms to further expand TLB’s distribution channels. He reports to TLB global head of sales and distribution Jeremy Young and TLB Singapore chief executive Benjamin Chua.
