Vontobel has boosted its fixed-income team by bringing in a portfolio manager from Julius Bär.
Vontobel has appointed Stella Ma lead portfolio manager for its global high-yield bond strategy, the bank said in a press release Wednesday.
She was previously responsible for the introduction and management of the global high-yield strategy at Julius Bär Investment Management.
Ma previously worked for Bluecrest Capital Management in London and Geneva as well as a credit analyst for Morgan Stanley and ING Financial Markets in London and Amsterdam.
«With 20 years of success in high-yield fund management... Stella Ma will help us increase performance for our clients in the current environment where interest rates remain low,» Head of Corporate Bonds Mondher Bettaieb-Loriot said in the statement.
