Zurich-based private bank Vontobel has been making some personnel changes within its wealth management division.
Swiss private bank Vontobel has appointed Brian Fischer deputy head of the wealth management division, it said in a press release. The bank said the move as part of its strategic initiatives and would take effect from August 1. In this new function, Fischer will report to Head of Wealth Management Georg Schubiger.
Fischer, who has been with Vontobel for over 20 years, until recently headed the Platforms & Services client unit, which also includes the business with institutional financial intermediaries. Since their needs are similar to those of ultra-high net worth individuals, Vontobel has combined the two areas of responsibility.
Other Changes
Vontobel added that the Platforms & Services teams, which manage the platforms for financial intermediaries and banking transaction solutions, will be led by Head of Structured Solutions & Treasury Markus Pfister, and Head of Technology & Services Felix Lenhard from August 1.
