A veteran of the Swiss bank's technology infrastructure is joining the board of a wealth manager.

Swisspartners is adding Mario Crameri to its board, the Zurich-based wealth manager and fiduciary said in an emailed statement on Tuesday. Crameri recently left Credit Suisse and launched his own digital boutique with two former associates of the Swiss bank, as finews.com reported.

The Swiss computer scientist was most recently responsible for digital banking at Credit Suisse's domestic arm, including last year launching CSX in response to startups such as Revolut, N26, and, in Switzerland, Neon. He was sidelined in a reorganization last August when a direct banking push he oversaw was merged with digitalization under Anke Bridge Haux.

Crameri is ideally positioned to spur Swisspartners' digitization because he is at the crossroads of technology and business, Chairman Martin Meyer said. Swisspartners is one of the Switzerland's largest independent wealth and asset managers, employing roughly 110 people. The firm has also a presence in Singapore.
