The strategic move by the cloud-based trade finance digitisation solutions provider aims to increase engagement with clients, partners and other stakeholders in the region.
Bolero International is relocating co-founder Paul Mallon to Singapore, where he will lead the firm's global growth strategy as COO Asia-Pacific, the company announced on Monday in a statement.
Mallon, a maritime law expert specialising in bills of lading, in 1998 co-founded Bolero, which digitizes trade processes and transactions to provide greater visibility, transparency and control. In addition to his new responsibilities he will continue as General Counsel.

The move comes amid thriving trade finance digitisation in the region.
«With Paul taking up this role in Singapore, we will be better able to support our plans for expansion in Asia. Paul will provide much needed senior management presence and expertise to drive the growth that our new Galileo offerings make possible,» Andrew Raymond, CEO at Bolero International, said in the statement.
