Singapore state investor Temasek will expand its European presence with a third office in Paris to be opened in 2023.
Temasek will open a new office in Paris, according to a statement, with expectations for it to be operational in the first half of 2023.
This will mark the Singapore state investor’s third office in Europe, alongside the London and Brussels offices. The three offices will work closely to further expand Temasek's presence and access to opportunities across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Four Trends
According to Uwe Krueger, Temasek’s head of EMEA and head of industrials, business services, energy & resources, the investment opportunities in the region are aligned to four structural trends: digitization, sustainable living, future of consumption and longer lifespans.
«This new office is part of our 2030 strategy to expand our global network, construct a resilient portfolio and grow our organization, talent and capabilities, with sustainability at the core,» added Temasek executive director and CEO Dilhan Pillay.
With the newest Paris office, Temasek’s global presence now includes 13 offices across nine countries.
