British insurer Prudential will establish a financial advisory firm in Singapore to further expand its distribution channels.
Prudential will set up a financial advisory firm, according to a statement, after obtaining regulatory approval to do so from the Monetary Authority of Singapore in December.
The firm’s product shelf will include wealth solutions and general insurance, including travel and motor insurance.
The new firm marks another distribution channel for Prudential, which currently includes over 5,000 financial consultants, bancassurance partners and digital channels like Pulse, the insurer's mobile app.
