US banking giant Morgan Stanley has inaugurated its new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore.
Morgan Stanley has officially opened its new Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore, according to a statement. Located at IOI Central Boulevard Towers, the office boasts a space of 107,000 square feet across five floors.
The opening ceremony was attended by CEO Ted Pick, Asia CEO Gokul Laroia, and Leong Sing Chiong, the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s deputy managing director (markets and development).
«We are excited to open our new Southeast Asia headquarters, an investment that reflects our commitment to Singapore and the wider region where we see significant long-term growth opportunities,» commented Pick. «The new headquarters will play a pivotal role in Morgan Stanley’s growth strategy in Southeast Asia, allowing us to strengthen our presence and better serve clients.»
34-Year History
Morgan Stanley has had a presence in Singapore since 1990 and it currently provides investment banking, equity and fixed income research, securities trading, derivatives, commodities, private wealth management and investment management services in the city-state.
Elsewhere in Southeast Asia, the bank also has offices in Jakarta, Bangkok and Manila.
