Generous Gesture From Cardiff City Owner
Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan recently financed the cost of travel for the fans of the English Championship club for their midweek game with Ipswich Town.
A spokesman for the club said, “It has been a tough season and we wanted to help supporters for what was a long journey in midweek.”
Tan has often come under fire for his dealings with the club so such a magnanimous gesture should also be lauded.
The trip is approximately five hundred miles and was a kind act from the Malaysian billionaire. Unfortunately though his charges went down 3-1.
