Singapore-based multi-family office WMA makes two senior hires with more than 50 years of combined financial and private client experience.

Multi-family office Wealth Management Alliance (WMA) has hired Kenny Chong and Elizabeth Hart, both managing directors, to join its team in Singapore.

Chong joins WMA as its new head of Investment Services. Chong was most recently a portfolio manager at Marathon Asset Management. Previously, he had worked with J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse and DBS.

Hart joins from Rothschild Wealth Management where she was most recently its head of Southeast Asia. Previously, she was also a managing director at LGT in Singapore for almost two years.

Like-Minded Alliance

Stephan Repkow, founder and CEO of WMA, said the hires were a step towards «fostering our alliance of like-minded ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families».

The city-state has become a hub for both family offices and external asset managers because of its transparent licensing requirements as well as its ability to attract capital from across the Asia-Pacific region.
