Northern Trust continues to place focus on transition management for portfolios to seamlessly convert strategies with the hire of a new executive to cover the region.
Mat Cook joins the Sydney-based role to lead the establishment of the firm's transition management offering across Asia Pacific.
Cook has more than 14 years of industry experience in equities, fixed income and project management. He was most recently with State Street where he spent the past nine years as its transition manager.

Joining Northern Trust with Cook is fellow ex-State Street transition manager Rob Dixon, who will be based in London to support the firm’s Europe, the Middle East and Africa offices.
