Franklin Templeton appoints a new country head of Singapore following the pending departure of former Southeast Asia head Adam Quaife who will relocate to Australia in December.
Dora Seow has been appointed to the new role, reporting to APAC managing director Mark Browning, in addition to her existing responsibilities for oversight of Franklin Templeton’s businesses in Thailand, Philippines and Brunei.
Seow’s 18-year career with Franklin Templeton spanned across various roles before her current one, including a stint as the Asia head of the portfolio administration group and Southeast Asia head of institutional distribution.
Avi Satwalekar remains as the Malaysia country head and chairman of Franklin Templeton’s Vietnam joint venture with Vietcombank Fund Management. Satwalekar also reports to Browning.
«We continue to see immense, untapped opportunities across Southeast Asia as a key engine within global emerging markets and believe these changes will position us well for the future,» Browning said.
