Aberdeen Standard Investments has strengthened its Environmental, Social and Governance investment capabilities in Asia Pacific with two appointments.
Danielle Welsh-Rose is the new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investment director for Asia Pacific and Petra Daroczi is the new investment analyst for ESG and fixed income. Based in Sydney, she will help drive ASI’s ESG strategy in Asia Pacific and partner with the investment teams across all asset classes to ensure full integration of ESG principles into investment decision-making. She will also act as an advocate for ESG investing with clients and investors across the region.
Welsh-Rose brings more than 17 years’ experience in ESG leadership roles and has joined ASI from the Victorian Funds Management Corporation, where she was head of ESG. She reports to Euan Stirling, global head of stewardship and ESG investment and Brett Jollie, managing director, Australia.

Separately, Daroczi is responsible for providing Asian credit analysis from an ESG risk perspective and supporting the integration of ESG risk assessment in the regional fixed income portfolios.
As part of the Asian fixed income team based in Singapore, Daroczi reports to Paul Lukaszewski, head of corporate debt for Asia and Australia. She joined ASI from Thomson Reuters where she gained ESG analysis experience as its regional ESG ambassador in Singapore.

Aberdeen Standard Investment’s global ESG team is has a dedicated team of around 20 professionals and more than 30 specialists across different asset classes, supporting more than 1000 investment professionals.
