The Swiss private bank is hiring from a rival to run its Dubai office. The current head switches to a newly opened second office in the emirate.
Guy Bambule will run Lombard Odier's activities in Dubai, the Genevan wealth manager said in an emailed statement. The Swiss banker previously worked for HSBC in Switzerland.
His move from Geneva to Dubai coincides with the move of current head Christophe Lalandre to Abu Dhabi, where Lombard Odier opened a branch last year, as finews.com reported.
«The United Arab Emirates is a key market for Lombard Odier, and we are confident that Mr. Bambule will continue driving growth in the Emirates», Lombard Odier's new markets head Arnaud Leclercq said.
