As part of a generational transition, Lombard Odier has announced the appointment of a new managing partner following the retirement of Alexandre Zeller.

Lombard Odier has appointed Xavier Bonna as its new managing partner, according to an announcement of the bank’s first-half results, effective 1 January 2025 and subject to regulatory approval.

Bonna has extensive experience in private banking and investment management. He joined Lombard Odier in 2016 and has held various senior roles in the private clients division with a focus on serving the bank’s large client relationships.

Next Generation

Bonna’s appointment follows Alexandre Zeller’s decision to retire as managing partner at the end of 2024 after joining the bank in the role in 2019. H will become a non-executive board member of Banque Lombard Odier & Cie, subject to regulatory approval.

«As the generational transition of our Partnership continues, we would like to thank Alexandre Zeller for his outstanding contribution to Lombard Odier. His experience and leadership have been a great asset to our Firm, and we are pleased to see him join our board,» said senior managing partner Hubert Keller.

«We look forward to welcoming Xavier Bonna as we build our next generation of Managing Partners. His passion for investments, leadership skills and dedication to clients underline what we stand for as a Bank.»
