ANZ has appointed Hong Kong-based Farhan Faruqui as chief financial officer, reporting to CEO Shayne Elliott, the Australian lender said on Wednesday in a statement.
Faruqui was previously one of Citigroup's highest-ranking bankers in Asia, leading its corporate and investment bank in Asia, and global loans and capital markets business in the region.
