Aviva Singlife-owned investment platform Navigator Investment Services has hired an ex-DBS managing director as its chief executive.
Akhil Doegar has been named CEO of Navigator Investment Services Ltd (NISL), according to a statement, effective December 3.
in the new role, Doegar will be responsible for developing and executing strategy to expand the homegrown business regionally.
He was most recently at DBS where he spent 17 years, last as its managing director and head of digital payments group. He was also a founding member of DBS group’s digital bank in India and Indonesia.

Singapore-based NISL owns both Navigator and Dollardex – integrated investment platforms for financial advisers and investors – which have partnerships with local and international fund managers.
