Nomura has reportedly hired an ex-Credit Suisse executive to co-lead its investment bank in the Asia ex-Japan region.
Patrick Kwan joins Nomura as its new Asia ex-Japan co-head of investment banking, according to a «Bloomberg» report citing an internal memo, alongside fellow co-head and Nomura Asia Pacific Holdings representative director Kenji Teshima.
Kwan will join Nomura effective January 7 next year.
The veteran investment banker joins from Credit Suisse where he was most recently its vice chairman, investment banking and capital markets, Asia Pacific. Previously, he also spent 15 years with Barclays.
