Fidelity’s investment management arm has hired a mutual fund veteran from China as a managing director to oversee its onshore business in the country.
Helen Huang will join Fidelity International as a managing director for China, according to a statement.
Based in Shanghai, Huang will be responsible for leading Fidelity's mainland asset management company after it was set up and approved by local regulators in August 2021.
Huang has 20 years of industry experience, most recently as chief executive officer of Hwabao WP Fund Management, a Chinese fund house with $60 billion in assets under management (figures as of the first quarter of 2022).
