Sun Life appoints a general manager for life and health in its Hong Kong business.
Christine Yeung has been named general manager for life and health at Sun Life Hong Kong, according to a statement sent by the insurer.
In her new role, Yeung will be responsible for expanding the life and health business while also driving the Toronto-headquartered group's Greater Bay Area strategy.
Prior to joining Sun Life, Yeung was the chief commercial officer and chief product officer at FTLife. In addition, she worked at AIA and Manulife, helping to spearhead their product proposition strategies in Hong Kong and other markets.
Separately, Sun Life indicated that its general manager of distribution, Steven Fong, has resigned to pursue other opportunities. A successor is expected to be announced in due course.
